My Husband's Idea of a Romantic Getaway

When my husband said he wanted to go on a romantic weekend getaway I was more than excited. I weekend getaway was just we needed, I began looking for packages online to get in contact with various destinations. Latter I found out that my husband's idea of a romantic getaway was Michigan Getaways. I was surprised, when you think of a romantic getaway or vacation Michigan usually isn't the first thing that comes into your mind. My husband was excited, so I was thinking the whole time we would be fishing on Lake Michigan. I hadn't heard much about Michigan getaways so I just assumed as much. I tried to do some snooping around the house looking at details contact papers. I even tried to drop some hints on what I wanted to by leaving getaway pamphlets with massages laying around. We weren't going to travel far so I did my best to get everything I would need for the weekend.

When we left the city for Michigan romantic getaways I had my doubts on it being a romantic weekend at all. When we pulled into Harbor springs by Lake Michigan, you could tell we left the city, and it quick escapes Detroit. As we got our hotel room, my husband suggested we take a hike. That was not how I wanted to spend my romantic weekend, in the wilderness. Because I told myself to remain optimistic I went, Michigan getaways didn't mean I had to stuck in the wilderness.

We took a trail in Harbor Springs near the harbor. The view of lake Michigan was amazing! It was the best view possible of the lake. We didn't have to travel far to find a place to have a picnic. This Michigan getaways thing was really turning up. I couldn't believe that my husband actually found something we both enjoyed, maybe he has been listening to me these past couple of years. I was in suspense the rest of the weekend. I was glad that I could stay in contact with my kids throughout the weekend. Our weekend getaway was full of fun romantic things that I didn't think Michigan had to offer. We even fit in time to golf, which I am bad at, but my husband lets me cheat every now and then.

Michigan romantic getaways turned out to be the perfect romantic weekend. We decided that we needed to travel and vacation more in Michigan for longer than a weekend.
